Business Analysis Specialist

This role requires a highly analytical individual to work closely with various stakeholders in understanding business requirements and developing technical solutions.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to create detailed reports and dashboards to track performance metrics.

The Business Analysis Specialist will be responsible for gathering requirements, conducting feasibility studies, and analyzing current business processes to identify areas of improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct requirement gathering sessions with Global Process Owners, Business Process Owners, and other stakeholders via interviews, meetings, and workshops.
  • Work closely with global and business process owners to align business requirements with technical solutions.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation such as Change Request Documents, Business Requirement Documents, JIRA tickets, BPMN (Flowcharts), and Scope documents.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, impact analysis, and estimation of changes or enhancements in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Analyze current business processes and workflows, identify gaps or inefficiencies, and recommend IT solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Act as a liaison between business users, the IT team, and vendors, ensuring alignment between technology solutions and business requirements.
  • Assist in creating reports and dashboards that track performance and KPIs for various stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business analysis within IT departments, preferably in the fintech, banking, or financial services industry.
  • Understanding of system architecture, software development life cycle (SDLC), and project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex systems and business workflows.
  • Ability to clearly document and present business and technical requirements, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools like JIRA, MS Visio, BPMN, Confluence, and reporting tools. Familiarity with SQL and data migration processes is a plus.
