About Leap

We are building a new 0-1 stablecoin payments initiative.

Stablecoins are one of the fastest growing categories in crypto, with clear product market fit in payments and cross-border use cases.

The role is focused on leading engineering for the entire stablecoin initiative – spanning both application and infrastructure layers.

You will lead backend development of web and mobile applications, design and scale backend systems powering payments and settlements, build solid reliable infra on top of fragmented provider APIs across markets, lead technical discussions and own architecture for integrations and scaling, mentor and manage a small engineering team, ensure security scalability and regulatory readiness in architecture, and own delivery timelines and establish engineering best practices.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Backend Development: Lead the development of backend systems that power our applications and drive business growth.
  • System Design: Design scalable and secure systems that meet our customers' needs and exceed their expectations.
  • API Integration: Build robust API integrations with external providers across geographies to enhance our services.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a small team of engineers to deliver high-quality solutions and drive innovation.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure our systems are secure, scalable, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
