We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to own backend delivery in a TypeScript/AWS environment. The codebase is live, but some areas need cleaning up and extending fast.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Designing and maintaining PostgreSQL schemas, migrations, and queries.
  • Integrating with third-party APIs securely (OAuth2, JWT).
  • Improving existing systems for performance, reliability, and audit requirements.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of backend engineering experience, ideally in financial services.
  • Strong TypeScript/Node.js skills, productive from day one.
  • Hands-on with AWS Lambda and serverless patterns.
