Key Responsibilities:
  • Platform Engineering Strategy
    • Define and execute a comprehensive engineering strategy aligned with business goals and product roadmap.
  • Global R&D Roadmap
    • Lead global research and development initiatives to drive innovation and growth.
  • Engineering Team Leadership
    • Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing engineering team to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.
  • SaaS Platform Development and Operations
    • Oversee the development and operations of a scalable, reliable SaaS platform to meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless delivery and exceptional customer experience.
  • Technical Decision Making
    • Make informed technical decisions balancing business, customer, and engineering needs.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Drive continuous improvement in performance, scalability, stability, and security to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Agile Methodologies and Data-Driven Culture
    • Promote Agile methodologies and foster a data-driven culture to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Representation
    • Represent engineering to senior stakeholders and report on progress and challenges to ensure alignment and support.

Candidate Requirements:

Requirements:
  • 20+ years of experience in software engineering, with 15+ years in SaaS platform/product development.
  • Proven leadership managing teams of 100+ engineers across diverse skill sets.
  • Expertise in cloud-native architectures, containers, APIs, Infrastructure-as-Code, and serverless computing.
  • Strong understanding of software and infrastructure cost management.
  • Technical skills: Java, .NET, AWS, RedHat, ETL tools, front-end technologies; familiarity with Github Copilot and Jira.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, and building engineering talent pipelines.
