Are you a seasoned software engineer with a passion for leading high-performing teams?

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Software Engineering Director, responsible for providing strategic direction and technical leadership to drive business growth and innovation.

**Job Description**

As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for:

• Providing technical guidance and oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet customer needs and expectations.

• Developing and implementing technical strategies to improve developer productivity, automation, and advanced technical skills.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address operational issues, ensuring service resilience, sustainability, and recovery time objectives are met.

• Driving technical forums and building a high-performing team that showcases increased technical and domain expertise capabilities.

• Staying up-to-date with current tools, technologies, and areas like cyber security and regulations pertaining to aspects like data privacy, consent, data residency etc.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• 13-18 years of hands-on engineering experience with experience in an engineering role or leading engineering teams.

• A proven track record in maintaining latest technical skills and improving developer productivity through automation and advanced technical skills.

• Excellent problem analysis, brainstorming, and facilitation skills, as well as good prioritization, research, and decision-making skills.

• Proactive and able to operate in a fast-paced, large, transforming, and matrix organization.

• Knowledge of Wealth and Personal Banking business especially - private banking and wealth management, and Scaled Agile framework, Agile methodology, and cross-functional teams well-versed with Agile and DevOps.

• Customer-centric mindset, understanding the importance of meeting clients' needs and expectations, and management ranging from Front Office, Middle Office to Backend processes.
