Job Overview

We are seeking a strong Technical Leader who combines technical expertise with exceptional team management skills to lead our healthcare claims processing engineering teams.

This role requires deep knowledge of distributed systems, the ability to build and mentor high-performing engineering teams, and a track record of scaling successful large-scale system migrations or platform modernizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Expertise: Design and architect scalable healthcare claims processing systems handling millions of transactions, ensure system reliability, performance, and security standards meet regulatory requirements.
  • Team Management: Build, lead, and mentor a team of software engineers across multiple product areas, conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development planning.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product, Data, and Operations teams on feature planning and delivery, drive engineering best practices, code quality, and delivery processes.
Required Skills
  • 6+ years of software engineering experience with 1+ years in technical leadership, strong system design experience with distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
  • Hands-on coding experience, experience with real-time processing systems and high-volume transaction processing, track record of successful large-scale system migrations or platform modernizations.
  • Proven track record of scaling engineering teams and managing technical talent, deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), databases, and modern engineering practices.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and continuous integration/deployment, Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
