Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a seasoned technology leader to oversee the development of our technology roadmap and drive innovation across the organization.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise data standards, and modernizing priorities.

About This Role:

  • As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for defining and implementing technical strategies that support business objectives.
  • You will collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and develop solutions that drive operational excellence.
  • This role involves driving good design, refactoring, and technical debt elimination, ensuring technical debt and associated impacts are visible to the team.
  • Accountable for the development, performance management, and career progression of a number of Technology roles, e.g., Software and Systems Engineers.

Tech Skills:

  • A broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks are used, including AWS large-scale data warehouse implementation experience, Microservices, Rest API Integration, scalable, maintainable, and reliable software solutions, and AI/ML and Gen AI applications.
  • Experience building RAGs using LlamaIndex, LangChain, or similar frameworks is preferred, as well as building Agentic AI systems using AutoGen, CrewAI, Pydantic, or similar frameworks.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, TypeScript or C#) and experience developing microservices architecture on cloud platforms (AWS & Azure) is required.
  • A keen interest in researching new AI tooling and being a daily user of AI coding assistants such as Cursor, Continue, GitHub CoPilot, Aider, Cline, etc. is desired.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of experience in software engineering and technical leadership.
  • Strong technical leadership skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders to solve business-critical problems.
  • Ability to provide technical direction to teams, reviewing designs and code to ensure best practices.
