Cloud Infrastructure Expert

The ideal candidate for this position is expected to be a seasoned Cloud Practitioner who manages Service Delivery and Practice Building.

  • About the Role:
  • This individual will provide strategic advisory services, conduct market research, and develop data-driven recommendations to enhance business performance.
  • Main Responsibilities:
    • Design and Implement: Understand business requirements and shape an offering that brings value to the requirement.
    • Solution Development: Define the solution, resource plan, and implementation approach, identifying top cloud architecture solutions to meet company needs.
    • Drive internal processes in relation to ITIL Life cycle Practices.
    • Deliver Cloud implementation projects end-to-end from business case, roadmap to deployment.
    • Apply non-functional requirements and technical knowledge in the Cloud domain to drive design of a robust solution.
    • Customer Management: Manage senior client stakeholders during discovery.
    • Team Leadership: Build capability of the Cloud Practice and enable effective management and delivery.
    • Lead team and ensure performance and career progression.
    • Develop strategy on key capability areas against market trends and development.
Requirements
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience: Experience architecting/operating solutions built on Microsoft Azure/AWS.
  • Skills: Working knowledge of software development tools or DevOps methodologies.
  • Track Record: History of successful technical consulting and/or architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises.
  • Presentation Skills: Demonstrated presentation skills with comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers.
Key Competencies and Skills
  • Domain Knowledge: Domain Knowledge on Microsoft Azure/ AWS Cloud Platforms.
  • Cloud Cost Control: Must have worked Cloud Cost Control or FINOPS Framework.
  • Work Experience: Proven work experience as a Cloud Architect or similar role.
  • Positive Attitude: Positive attitude and commitment to delivering quality work.
  • Cloud Computing: Excellent knowledge of cloud computing technologies and current computing trends.
  • Communication: Effective communication skills to articulate complicated cloud reports.
  • Certifications: Relevant training and/or certifications as a Cloud Architect.
