Business Systems Specialist Role

This position is responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements for the digital platform.

  • Requirements Gathering: Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs, challenges, and goals, ensuring that the platform meets their requirements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of platform objectives.
  • Documentation: Develop comprehensive business requirement documents (BRDs) and functional requirement specifications (FRSs) to guide the development and implementation of the platform.
  • Gap Analysis: Identify discrepancies between current and desired states, and propose solutions to bridge these gaps.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data to support decision-making, including defining key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for the platform.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend enhancements to optimize platform performance and user experience.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, developers, UX/UI designers, and QA teams to ensure that requirements are clearly understood and implemented correctly.
  • Testing & Validation: Participate in the development of test plans and scripts, and assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that the platform meets the defined requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on digital platforms, software development, or global projects.

Strong understanding of digital platforms, software development life cycle (SDLC), and business analysis methodologies.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Experience with business analysis tools and software such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, or equivalent systems.
