As a skilled Database Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting database operations including performance monitoring, query optimization, code deployments, access management, and database analysis. The ideal candidate will operate in Oracle and Exadata database re-platforming efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support ongoing efforts and provide technical support for multiple database re-platforming efforts to Exadata.
  • Review and implement data loading scripts related to Golden Gate data replication.
  • Optimize and tune SQL queries and indexes in Oracle.
  • Work with Oracle 12c/Oracle 19c/Exadata added capabilities and functionality.
  • Develop strong programming skills using PL/SQL (package, procedures, functions, triggers).
  • Perform performance tuning using SQL Trace, Explain Plan, Indexing, and Hints.
  • Manage database objects like table space, users, indexes, roles, privileges, profiles, and synonyms.
  • Monitor database performance as it relates to memory usage, proper backups, active sessions, long-running queries, tablespace configuration, and space allocations.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of logical and physical DBA experience, including experience in Oracle Exadata.
  • Extensive working knowledge of all aspects of Database Data Movement and Processing, including Golden Gate and Informatica ETL.
  • Familiarity with JIRA workflow processes and agile methodology.
  • Working experience with TOAD or Oracle SQL Developer.
  • Strong communication and self-motivation skills.
