Database Developer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled database developer to join our team. This role requires designing, developing, and maintaining complex relational databases.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Database Design and Development: Our ideal candidate will have experience in designing and developing complex relational databases using SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
  • SQL Query Writing: The successful applicant must be able to write efficient and optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
  • Data Modelling: We require someone who can design and implement data models (normalized and denormalized) for transactional and analytical purposes.
  • Database Security and Integrity: Strong knowledge of database security, integrity, and availability is essential.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Database Development Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience in database development and management.
  • SQL Proficiency: Strong proficiency in SQL and major RDBMS (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL).
  • ETL Tools: Familiarity with ETL tools like Azure Data Factory, Informatica PowerCenter, Snowflake.
  • Cloud-Based Databases: Experience with cloud-based databases (e.g., Azure SQL, AWS RDS, Google Cloud SQL).
  • Version Control Systems: Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

This position demands a strong command of SQL, experience with ETL processes, and a deep understanding of data modelling and database performance tuning.
