Cloud Infrastructure Professional

In this key role, you will be responsible for overseeing the administration of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services. A strong understanding of tenancy, virtual cloud networks (VCNs), compartments, network layers, firewalls, subnet management, storage options, file systems, block volumes, and object storage is required.

You will handle infrastructure administration tasks such as installing, configuring, migrating, tuning, patching, and monitoring OCI resources. Additionally, you will have hands-on experience with writing and modifying Terraform scripts for application deployments on OCI and managing OCI infrastructure.

Promoting performance efficiency, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization are crucial aspects of this position. You will configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as needed to ensure high availability of infrastructure. Regular OS patches and upgrades, along with administrative tool and utility upgrades, will also be your responsibility.

Network security groups, bastion hosts, public load balancers, and storage provisioning are critical areas where your expertise will be invaluable.

A solid grasp of IaaS solutions, including virtual machines, networks, on-premise/hybrid cloud computing, cloud identity, security models, cloud monitoring, logging, and local/cloud storage is highly desirable.

Managing certificate renewals, understanding high availability architecture in an OCI environment, and setting up HA concepts in DR and on infrastructure for DR sites are essential skills.
