Job Description

As a senior server administrator, you will lead the management of our hybrid server infrastructure. This role encompasses maintaining and optimizing both on-premises and cloud-based environments, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), and Windows 365 Cloud PCs.

Key responsibilities include administering and supporting Windows Server environments across on-prem and Azure platforms, deploying, configuring, and managing Azure Virtual Machines and related services, designing, implementing, and maintaining AVD environments, and managing Windows 365 Cloud PCs.

Additional duties involve hypervisor administration, automating administrative tasks using PowerShell and Azure CLI, monitoring system performance, availability, and security, collaborating with security and compliance teams to enforce policies and respond to vulnerabilities, participating in disaster recovery planning and testing, and providing mentorship and technical leadership to junior team members.

Required Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in server administration with a focus on Microsoft technologies.
  • Proven experience managing both on-prem and Azure-based virtual machines.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365 Cloud PC administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Windows Server OS.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Familiarity with hybrid networking, VPNs, and ExpressRoute.
