Job Title

A Database Administrator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and performance of an organization's database infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Database Administration: Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and SQL Server database administration and maintenance in Windows/Linux environments.
  • Master/Slave Replication: Configuring replication with failovers and recovery scenarios to ensure high availability.
  • Cloud Migration: Experience with on-prem to cloud database migration.
  • Cloud Environments: Working knowledge of cloud environments, preferably AWS.
  • Database Upgrade and Patching: Hands-on experience with upgrading, patching, and maintaining PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and SQL Server databases.
  • Performance Tuning: Good experience in performance tuning of SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB database environments.
Requirements:
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in backups, restore, user management, securing the database environment.
  • Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills.
