Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Patent Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for drafting patent applications for inventions in information and communication technologies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Draft patent applications for inventions in ICT fields.
  • Deliver prosecution projects, formulating response strategies for office actions and drafting responses to action items.
  • Develop provisional specifications and complete patent applications with well-crafted claim sets conforming to US and EP patent standards.
  • Provide training on multiple technical areas.
  • Mentor team members and interns on technology areas and provide guidance on drafting and prosecution work.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Applying process knowledge to produce consistent results in assigned tasks.
  • Performing independent work on projects, creating processes for client deliverables and talent development.
  • Performing root cause analysis to enhance team performance and improve productivity.
  • Analyzing problems using available tools.
  • Participating in the hiring process by preparing test papers and interviewing candidates.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or technology from a reputable institute.
  • Excellent domain knowledge in ICT fields.
  • Four+ years of experience in patent drafting and/or prosecution, with at least two years of experience in drafting US patents.
  • Experience drafting 50+ patent applications for US domains.
