Solar Engineering Manager Position

Job Overview
Our team is looking for an experienced Solar Engineering Manager to lead the technical review of solar projects.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Technical Review & Validation
  • Evaluate design submissions from consultants for accuracy, safety, and long-term performance.
  • Verify compliance with IEC/IS codes, MNRE, DISCOM, and CEA requirements.
  • Coordinate with consultants and clients for design clarifications and approvals.
  1. Design Approval & Coordination
  • Provide timely technical approvals of consultant deliverables.
  • Ensure engineering documents align with project BOQ, specifications, and contract requirements.
  1. Project Execution Support
  • Guide project teams on design-related queries.
  • Monitor implementation to ensure adherence to approved designs.
  1. Optimization & Risk Mitigation
  • Identify design gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Recommend value-engineering measures to optimize costs without compromising quality.
  1. Leadership & Teamwork
  • Lead internal engineering review meetings.
  • Mentor junior engineers in design review processes.

Qualifications & Experience

  • B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Power/Renewable Energy (M.Tech preferred).
  • 10–15 years of experience in solar EPC projects, with significant exposure to design review and approvals.
  • Strong knowledge of PV system design (DC & AC side), grid connectivity, substation interface, and protection systems.
  • Hands-on experience with PVsyst, AutoCAD, and electrical design software.
