Technical Lead for Scalable Web Applications

About Position:

This is a challenging role for a seasoned technical architect to lead the development of complex, scalable web applications that address business problems in travel. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python (Django and Flask) and React frontend technologies.

What You'll Do:

The successful candidate will design and oversee the development of full-stack web applications using Python backend and React frontend. This includes designing, developing, and maintaining backend services using Python with Django and Flask, as well as developing and integrating RESTful APIs and asynchronous services.

You will work closely with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers to optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security. Additionally, you will implement unit and integration tests; support CI/CD pipelines.

Expertise You'll Bring:

  • Strong proficiency in Python, particularly Django and Flask frameworks
  • Proven experience designing and implementing architectures for large-scale web applications
  • Proficiency in React for building interactive, high-performance frontends
  • Experience integrating third-party APIs
  • Strong backend skills: RESTful API design, database modeling (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle)
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience in agile development and DevOps practices
  • Solid understanding of software design patterns, microservices, event-driven architectures
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and documentation skills
