Job Description

Provide Industry Guidance

As a Senior Business Consultant, you will offer industry expertise and functional advice to clients in the discovery workshop, design, implementation, testing, and production support of treasury management solutions.

  • Develop and present comprehensive product solutions to client users.
  • Collaborate with technical consultants to review, test, and validate scripted solutions as directed by product managers.
  • Work closely with clients to determine business requirements and work processes to be addressed by one or more areas of the product solution.
  • Stay up-to-date on treasury management system configuration and demonstrate deep knowledge in multiple areas.
  • Offer guidance to business consultants in various functional areas of the product solution.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices as directed by line managers and assume hands-on project implementation duties.
  • Document business requirements, configuration designs, test plans/results, and other deliverables required by the project.
  • Maintain regular communication with line managers and project managers regarding assigned responsibilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Treasury Experience

  • Hands-on experience with treasury management systems, preferably Reval.
  • Front office/Risk: Treasury experience, including derivatives such as foreign exchanges, interest rate swaps, cross-currency swaps, external debt deals, intercompany loans, credit facilities, letters of credit, and guarantees.
  • Risk: Familiarity with hedging programs, including cash flow and fair value hedges. Understanding of what happens with cash flow and fair value hedges, MTM, and realized gains/losses.
  • Risk/Hedge Accounting: Basic understanding of risk accounting, including derivative assets, liabilities, OCI, MTM, interest payable/receivable, etc.
  • Payments: Experience in MT101 and XML payments. Understanding of domestic and international payments in formats MT101 and XML.
  • Cash Management: Familiarity with cash management items, including cash positioning and reconciliation. Understanding how overall cash impacts a company and the importance of reconciling bank statements.
  • Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, engineering, economics, or related IT field or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work as part of a project team structure and onsite at client locations.
