Customs Clearance Expertise

We are seeking an experienced Customs Clearance professional to fill a critical role in our organization. The successful candidate will have a strong background in customs clearance, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results under pressure.

About the Job:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing site-specific customs clearance strategies aligned with organizational goals. They will source, negotiate, and manage contracts with suppliers for customs-related services, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and quality standards.

The candidate will monitor supplier performance, maintain strong vendor relationships, and ensure accurate records of customs transactions and supplier data. Regular reports on customs metrics, inventory levels, and cost savings will be generated, and data analysis will identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.

The successful candidate will support audits and compliance checks with relevant documentation, address discrepancies, and resolve customs issues promptly. Timely receipt of goods at the site will be ensured by tracking deliveries.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 8-12 years of experience in customs clearance, preferably in a site-based or industrial setting.
  • Proficiency in SAP systems and MIS tools.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific customs regulations and vendor networks.
