Job Description:

Key Role and Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day administrative activities related to school operations.
  • Requisition curriculum support and inventory for primary, middle, and senior schools, and manage it within set timelines.
  • Ensure all day-to-day updates on student and staff data, circulars, school events, tests, examinations, trips, etc.
  • Establish quality standards for various services affecting the domains of teaching and learning, safety, transport, catering, security, uniforms, and more.
Accountabilities
  • Efficiently manage administrative functions in schools, resolving issues within agreed times and stipulated dates.
  • Operate logistics, security, housekeeping, and support staff efficiently.
  • Maintain records and checks on services like transport, catering, security, uniforms, and teaching and learning domains.
  • Implement ancillary management effectively.
  • Ensure school safety equipment is always in top condition.
  • Make cost-effective arrangements for training programs, workshops, field trips, and other special events.
  • Maintain a cooperative school-community relationship.
  • Resolve day-to-day issues with external vendors and agencies within stipulated time frames.

Experience and Qualification:

  • Essential: Business degree, 5-8 years of experience, at least 2 years in the education industry.
  • Desirable: MBA – Finance/Marketing/Operations, experience in education, telecom, insurance, retail, IT training sectors.

Competencies:

  • Functional: Business understanding, planning and organizing skills, problem-solving, relationship building, crunching numbers, decision-making, self-driven, emotional intelligence, assertiveness, analytical thinking, ability to work under pressure.
  • Behavioural: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, manage multiple stakeholders.
