Job Title:

Director of Operations


Job Summary:

Lead a production team to achieve excellence in steel production by preparing and executing production plans, prioritizing daily and weekly tasks to meet customer demands.

Monitor and control production consumables, ensuring minimum order levels are maintained and wastage is minimized. Deploy manpower efficiently, balancing line production based on product mix. Implement safety rules and practices, providing training to employees and identifying potential hazards.

Improve customer satisfaction through effective CAPA implementation, review of process control documents, and communication of customer-specific requirements. Develop new employees through induction training, skill matrix updates, and CRT/OJT facilitation. Control and reduce operational costs per metric ton by implementing cost-saving initiatives and monitoring consumption.


Requirements:
  • 8-14 years of experience in the steel industry, with a degree in Mechanical/Production/Metallurgy Industrial Engg or Mechatronic.
  • Knowledge of machine systems, including slitting, CTL, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Awareness of latest technology in the steel industry.
  • Steel product and process knowledge.
