Operations Director Role

Description:

  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
  • Be aware of operational knowledge across all products, including ocean and air export/import services.
  • Develop and implement quality standards to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Enhance internal capacity by optimizing existing processes and procedures.
  • Ensure timely completion of operational tasks.
  • Solve complex issues at escalation levels in a timely manner.
  • Regularly conduct performance checks at all operational levels.
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable departments.
  • Manage export and import shipments efficiently.
  • Negotiate with shipping lines, consignees, truckers, customs brokers, and agents worldwide.
  • Foster a collaborative environment between teams and employees.
  • Build strong relationships with shipping partners.
  • Lead the development of new operational teams and projects.
  • Analyze DSRs and prepare managerial reports as required.
