We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor in Economics to join our faculty at NMIMS.
Essential Qualifications:
- A Ph.D. Degree with First Class Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Economics or related discipline.
- A Minimum of 8 years of experience in teaching/research and/or industry at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent grade, excluding period spent on obtaining the research leading to Ph.D degree/academic administration in a University or/and in any of its affiliated College or/and Research Institute or research Centre, wholly or in parts.
- First Class Master's Degree in Economics or related discipline.
- Significant professional work which can be recognized as equivalent to a Ph.D. Degree in Economics or related discipline and industrial/professional experience of eight years in a position equivalent to the level of Assistant Professor.
- Published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work in the peer-reviewed or UGC listed Journals.
Responsibilities:
- Teaching and research in Economics at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Guidance and supervision of research projects and theses.
- Publication of research papers in peer-reviewed journals.
