Senior Commercial Law Professional

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Commercial Law Professional to lead our team in commercial law matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract review, negotiation, and drafting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Management: Develop, review, and execute commercial contracts, including e-commerce agreements, vendor contracts, service agreements, NDAs, etc.
  • Legal Risk Mitigation: Ensure accurate legal assessment, compliance, and mitigation of risks in all contracts.
  • Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence reviews for property transactions, including ownership, title, encumbrances, and compliance.
  • Legal Correspondence: Craft and issue professional legal notices, police complaints, and other forms of communication.
  • Counsel Coordination: Coordinate with external counsel as necessary.
  • Intellectual Property: Support trademark filings, renewals, oppositions, and portfolio management.
  • Trademark Authorities: Collaborate with trademark attorneys and relevant authorities.
  • Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain and update legal MIS (Management Information Systems).
  • Filing System Management: Organize and manage physical and digital filing systems for contracts, legal opinions, notices, etc.
  • Record Compliance: Ensure all records are kept in accordance with statutory and internal requirements.
  • Compliance Advisory: Provide support in legal compliance matters and research applicable laws and regulations.
  • Internal Guidance: Offer guidance to internal departments on legal matters.

Requirements: 7-8 years of experience in a similar role, LLM qualification, excellent drafting skills, and strong knowledge of commercial law.
