Job Title

We are seeking an accomplished Contract Specialist to spearhead our contract management efforts.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.

  • Drafting, Reviewing, and Negotiating Contracts:
    • Prepare clear, comprehensive, and enforceable agreements that safeguard the company's interests.
    • Review terms and conditions to identify potential risks, liabilities, and ambiguities.
    • Negotiate favorable terms while ensuring balanced risk allocation.
  • Risk Identification and Management:
    • Proactively assess contractual, commercial, and execution risks associated with contracts.
    • Implement mitigation strategies and maintain a risk register to ensure timely identification and resolution of issues.
    • Provide early warnings to management regarding potential exposures.
  • Contract Administration:
    • Maintain an organized contract repository, including approvals, correspondence, and variations.
    • Track milestones, obligations, guarantees, insurance, and payments to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
    • Ensure audit readiness and transparency in reporting.
  • Dispute Prevention and Resolution:
    • Monitor performance and obligations to minimize conflicts.
    • Manage claims preparation and defense (EOT, cost escalation, variations).
    • Engage in negotiations, settlements, or formal dispute resolution to safeguard organizational interests.
