Job Title: Signal Processing Engineer
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled DSP Systems Engineer to develop advanced signal processing algorithms utilizing techniques in Detection & Estimation Theory, Random Processes Analysis, and Communications and Information Theory.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining performance requirements, designing, testing, verification & validation of signal processing algorithms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, verify and test signal processing algorithms utilizing techniques in Detection & Estimation Theory, Random Processes Analysis, and Communications and Information Theory
- Design and simulation of end-to-end systems from the ground up to meet a required performance specification.
- Data analysis and verification of algorithms against real world data
- MATLAB simulations and fixed point implementations.
Requirements:
- MSEE+ with focus in DSP or digital communications theory
- 3-10 years of experience in implementation of DSP algorithms.
- Solid fundamentals in mathematics, digital signal processing and communication systems
- Experience in designing, choosing and optimizing DSP algorithms for RADAR or other relevant sensors
- Expert in MATLAB and C/C++ and experience in other languages (e.g. Python)
- Eager to learn & implement new algorithms in groundbreaking technology
Nice-to-haves:
- Background with Radar or LiDAR Signal Processing (FMCW)
- Expertise in Radar link budgets, analysis of Minimum Detectable Signal, Signal-to-Noise, and Signal-to-Clutter
- Experience developing DSP algorithms on FPGAs.
About Our Ideal Candidate:

Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Signal Processing Algorithm Design and Development: The successful candidate will design, test, and verify signal processing algorithms using state-of-the-art techniques.
- System Simulation and Modeling: He/She will simulate and model end-to-end systems to meet specific performance requirements.
- Data Analysis and Verification: Data analysis and verification of algorithms against real-world data is a key responsibility.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with focus on DSP or digital communications theory.
- Minimum 3-10 years of experience in implementing DSP algorithms.
- Solid foundation in mathematics, digital signal processing, and communication systems.
- Experience in designing, choosing, and optimizing DSP algorithms for RADAR or other relevant sensors.
- Proficiency in MATLAB and C/C++, with experience in other programming languages (e.g., Python).
Bonus Requirements:
- Familiarity with radar or LiDAR signal processing techniques (FMCW).
- Expertise in radar link budgets, minimum detectable signal analysis, signal-to-noise ratio, and signal-to-clutter analysis.
- Experience developing DSP algorithms on Field-Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs).
