About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Analyst to join our Financial Crimes team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining an effective financial crimes program that complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and regulatory expectations.

Job Responsibilities
  • You will participate in low-complexity initiatives and provide support to your team members.
  • You will research and scrutinize complex transactions and referrals to prevent and detect financial crimes activities, policy violations, and suspicious situations with low to moderate risk.
  • You will perform analysis to detect patterns, trends, anomalies, and schemes in transactions and relationships across multiple businesses or products.
  • You will receive direction from your supervisor and exercise judgment within defined parameters while developing an understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • You will draft reports of findings and trend evaluation and make recommendations to mitigate risk.
  • You will provide information to managers, functional colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • You will conduct education for financial crimes awareness.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years' experience in Financial Crimes - AML Investigations/Transaction Monitoring, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • Anti-Money Laundering (AML) / Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) experience including strong knowledge and understanding of transaction monitoring.
  • Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills.
