Expert Middleware Integrator

Job Description: As an experienced Integration Project Manager, you will lead the design and delivery of middleware-based API and system integrations for a leading WealthTech platform. This critical leadership role ensures seamless integration between our core wealth management platform and external systems and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute project plans across internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and secure rollouts.
- Define project scope, milestones, and success metrics for middleware/API integrations.
- Coordinate middleware service requirements between developers and business teams.
- Track and manage integration workstreams: real-time APIs, batch jobs, Kafka/RabbitMQ, SFTP.
- Validate data contracts, mapping, and transformation rules.
- Ensure compliance with API security, data privacy, and operational risk standards.
- Document integration touchpoints, workflows, and SLAs.
- Provide visibility on risks, blockers, and delivery status to senior stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 8–10 years of IT experience, with at least 5+ years in project/program management of API & middleware integrations.
- Mandatory: Experience in the wealth management / WealthTech / BFSI investment domain.
- Strong understanding of system integration techniques (APIs, message queues, SFTP).
- Familiarity with API management tools (Kong, Apigee, AWS API Gateway).
- Exposure to Node.js-based architectures, Kafka, RabbitMQ.
- Knowledge of financial data formats (FIX, OFX, JSON, XML).
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and delivery skills.
