Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Purchasing Manager to lead our procurement efforts. This role will oversee the entire purchasing lifecycle, from sourcing and negotiating contracts with suppliers to managing inventory levels and ordering supplies.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering, preferably in mechanical or production/automotive fields, and extensive experience in purchasing and procurement.

The ideal candidate will be well-versed in supply chain management principles and familiar with industry regulations and compliance standards.

In this role, you will:

  • Research potential suppliers and vendors to identify opportunities for cost savings and improved quality.
  • Negotiate supplier contracts and pricing to ensure competitive rates.
  • Track inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Participate in the selection of new suppliers as needed to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records of all purchasing activities to ensure transparency and accountability.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, or Automotive).
  • Extensive experience in purchasing and procurement.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards.
