Airport Operations Specialist

The Airport Operations Specialist is a key role within the airport's operations team.

  • For this position, we are looking for a graduate with relevant travel experience who is certified by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) or has a diploma in Travel and Tourism.
  • Knowledge of the Airline Industry is also essential.
  • Additionally, the ideal candidate should have previous work experience with Airport systems and applications for Crew, Ground, Departure Control, Turn Around, Baggage, and loading.
  • Working knowledge of Global Distribution Systems (GDS) is also required.
  • The successful candidate will support DCS systems for Reservations, Passenger Check-ins & Boarding, Baggage check-in, Load management.
  • Furthermore, they will support Crew systems for scheduling, tracking, and ensuring efficient utilization of crew resources.
  • Support for Baggage System like Monitoring and operating automated baggage handling systems is also expected.
  • Lastly, knowledge of Printing flight load sheet, baggage report, Advance Passenger Information System (APIS), and creating Incidents/Problem as per incident management & problem management tools is necessary.
Requirements:

Availability to work in 24 x 7 shifts is a must. Good communication skills, working knowledge of MS Office, analytical & research skills, troubleshooting and coordination skills, ability to work independently with minimum supervision, and ability to achieve stringent Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are also essential.

A motivated and detail-oriented professional who can work effectively in a dynamic environment is ideal for this role.
