Business Process Transformation Manager

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement across the region. This involves harmonizing business processes, optimizing target operating models, and enhancing operational efficiencies.

  • Key Responsibilities:

Develop standardized processes across the region to improve operational effectiveness. Collaborate with regional teams to refine target operating models, ensuring alignment with regional requirements.

  • Effective Technology Deployment:

Help agencies identify automation opportunities, reducing manual processes and redundancies. Facilitate best practice sharing between regional agencies.

  • High-Performance Agency Network Management:

Establish a high-performance mindset within regional agencies. Monitor and coach QPMs to improve agency performance. Drive initiatives promoting best practices, performance benchmarking, and continuous improvement.

  • Regional Improvement Projects:

Lead regional projects focusing on waste reduction, simplification, and efficiency gains. Conduct assessments to uncover process enhancement opportunities and engage stakeholders to drive a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Regional Deployments:

Deploy target operating models to minimize exceptions and manage country manager expectations. Implement new tools and processes within the region, monitoring adoption before handover to business units.

  • Project Management & HO Contribution:

Participate in global projects, collaborating with HO BEX teams and external teams to ensure effective implementation. Provide regional specificities and process needs as a focal point for the region.

  • New Cluster or Agency Setup:

Lead the setup and implementation of new regional clusters or agencies, aligning with business standards and operational targets. Provide guidance on standard operating procedures, resource allocation, and technology requirements.

This role demands advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills, along with conceptual and strategic thinking. An inspiring management style that incorporates our vision and values is essential, incorporating collaboration, boldness, and teamwork.

Required Capabilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Maritime Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Management.
  • At least 3 years of managerial experience in project management and/or business process improvement.
  • Certification in LEAN Six Sigma, Project Management advantageous.
  • Strategic Vision: Ability to see the big picture and align operational processes with strategic business goals.
  • Change Management: Skilled in managing change effectively to drive adoption of new processes and technologies.
  • Technology Acumen: Knowledgeable about emerging technologies, identifying and deploying relevant tools for process improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset: Proactive in identifying opportunities to reduce waste, automate tasks, and simplify workflows (Lean and Six Sigma knowledge).
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong analytical skills to evaluate data, assess performance, and inform process optimizations.
