Cloud Security Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Security Engineer to spearhead our cloud security initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain multi-cloud security strategies, focusing on cloud native security tooling and capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure cloud-based solutions.
  • Configure public cloud native security tooling, including organizational policies, VPC SC, IAM policies, and APIs.
  • Experience with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools such as Wiz, Prisma, Check Point CloudGuard, etc.
  • Utilize Policy-as-code (Rego) and OPA platform for infrastructure and application-level security controls.
  • Design and implement event-driven serverless-based security controls in Azure, AWS Lambda, and Google Cloud Functions.
  • Develop a strong understanding of DevOps processes and workflows.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and ensure compliance with secure SDLC process.
  • Familiarity with logging and data pipeline concepts and architectures in the cloud.
  • Scripting skills in languages like PowerShell, Python, Bash, or Go are essential.
  • Knowledge of Agile best practices and methodologies is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate with risk and regulatory functions and experience in the financial industry would be beneficial.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software and/or cloud platform engineering.
  • Deep understanding of the Shared Responsibility Model and security risks associated with hosting cloud-based applications and data.
  • Practical experience in designing and configuring CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
  • ITSM experience is desirable.
