Job Title: Finance Leader

 

The Role

We are seeking a highly competent finance professional to lead our team in a fast-paced logistics environment.

The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of finance operations, regulatory compliance, and cost control practices relevant to the logistics and supply chain.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting functions including AP, AR, and general ledger.
  • Manage timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books in compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).
  • Ensure accuracy in financial reporting and management.
  • Coordinate and manage internal and statutory audits.
  • Liaise with external auditors and ensure timely resolution of audit observations.
  • Implement audit recommendations and strengthen internal controls.
  • Establish and monitor financial controls and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Ensure timely and accurate GST filing, reconciliation, and compliance.
  • Oversee TDS, income tax filings, and handle tax assessments or notices.

 

Requirements:
  • Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) or Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICWA) or Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in finance, preferably with experience in the logistics, transportation, or supply chain sector.
  • Strong working knowledge of Goods and Services Tax (GST), Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), and income tax laws.
  • Proficiency in Tally, SAP, or ZOHO systems.
  • Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, leadership qualities, and communication skills.

 

Working Days: Monday to Friday + alternate Saturdays

Location: Navi Mumbai
