Marketing Role

We are seeking a talented marketing professional to join our team at Skills Cafe. As a recent graduate, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow with us.

Your role will involve creating engaging content across various social media platforms, writing compelling copy for blogs, emailers, and web pages, and developing email campaigns that drive results. You will also be responsible for audience engagement, content calendar planning, trend spotting, and campaign ideation.

To succeed in this position, you should have a strong foundation in writing, creativity, and marketing principles. You should also be proficient in tools like Canva, Figma, CapCut, Notion, Mailchimp, and CRM. A proactive and energetic approach, combined with attention to detail and a willingness to experiment, is essential.

As a marketing professional, you can expect to gain hands-on experience in real marketing campaigns, develop a portfolio of work, and receive mentorship and feedback from experienced professionals. Our team is dedicated to supporting your growth and celebrating your successes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create engaging social media content, including reels, carousels, memes, stories, and posts
  • Write compelling copy for blogs, emailers, web pages, ad lines, and campaign scripts
  • Develop and execute email campaigns that drive results
  • Engage with audiences through comments, DMs, polls, and conversations
  • Help plan and schedule content across platforms
  • Trend spot and bring fresh ideas to the table
Requirements:
  • Recent graduate from any stream (marketing/communications/media is a plus)
  • Strong writing skills with a focus on storytelling, headlines, and clean copy
  • Proficiency in tools like Canva, Figma, CapCut, Notion, Mailchimp, and CRM
  • Proactive, energetic, and willing to own ideas
  • Attention to detail with a willingness to experiment
