**Job Title:** Senior Lead System Engineer

**Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lead System Engineer to join our team.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, proposing, and leading projects to improve the solution design, as well as automating and optimizing operations and support of the environment.
  • They will also implement and maintain automation solutions to minimize manual tasks needed during operational events.
  • The ideal candidate will have mastery-level expertise with knowledge of industry trends and the ability to apply concepts in support of business requirements.
  • They will work independently to review and verify changes/solutions of high complexity and ensure governance and change management practices are followed.
  • The Senior Lead System Engineer will lead VMware and Storage related improvement projects to meet business needs and customer requirements.
  • They will also act as Tier-3/4 support for troubleshooting and resolution of any VMware vSphere or Storage problems.
  • Additionally, they will maintain organizational SLO, SLA, and business continuity programs.
  • On-call support is also required.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Strong understanding of VMware and Storage architectures.
  • Experience with project design, proposal, and leadership.
  • Proficiency in automation solutions and scripting languages.
  • Mastery-level expertise in storage engineering and cloud computing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and PCI-DSS compliance requirements.
