Job Role: Asset Acquisition Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis & Site Evaluation:
    • Conduct market research to identify suitable locations for new retail stores.
    • Evaluate local demographics, footfall potential, and competitive landscapes.
  • Site Assessments & Reports:
    • Carry out site visits to assess property suitability based on location, accessibility, and visibility.
    • Prepare detailed reports with key findings and recommendations for shortlisted properties.
  • Negotiation Support:
    • Support senior managers in negotiating lease terms, rental agreements, or purchase contracts with landlords or brokers.
    • Coordinate follow-ups with property owners or agents.
  • Documentation & Coordination:
    • Collaborate with legal and finance teams to compile and review documents related to property acquisition and agreements.
    • Maintain updated records of property details, contracts, and approvals.
  • Broker Relations & Inquiries:
    • Build relationships with brokers, agents, and developers to stay informed about new property listings.
    • Manage broker communications and property inquiries.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure all legal, zoning, and regulatory requirements are met for selected properties.
    • Support in obtaining necessary permits and approvals in coordination with relevant teams.
  • Reporting & Feedback:
    • Prepare regular updates and summaries on property acquisition progress for the team or management.
    • Provide feedback on challenges and opportunities during the acquisition process.
