Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced software development professional to join our team as a Polarion ALM specialist.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development lifecycle (SDLC) and application lifecycle management (ALM) processes, with experience in designing, developing, and maintaining Polarion solutions tailored to business needs.

  • Polarion Developers are responsible for configuring and customizing workflows, dashboards, user interfaces, and templates within Polarion
  • Integrating Polarion with other enterprise tools such as Jira, Jenkins, Git, DOORS, and PLM systems to streamline engineering processes
  • Implementing traceability matrices, test management, and compliance support features in Polarion
  • Collaborating with engineering and QA teams to align Polarion setups with project methodologies (Agile, V-model, etc.)
  • Developing and maintaining custom extensions, scripts, and APIs for enhanced functionality
  • Providing technical documentation, user training, and ongoing support to internal teams
  • Maintaining system performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing improvements

Key Requirements:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Polarion ALM development and administration
  • Strong experience in XML, JavaScript, Velocity templates, and Polarion APIs
  • Experience integrating Polarion with tools like Jira, Git, or CI/CD systems
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and ALM/PLM processes
  • Familiarity with test management, requirements traceability, and change control workflows

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience in regulated industries such as automotive, aerospace, or medical devices
  • Knowledge of ISO 26262, ASPICE, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, or other compliance standards
  • Experience with Java, Python, or other scripting languages for integration

Ideal Candidate: A highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Experience working independently as well as part of a team is essential.
