Job Title: Senior Snowflake Consultant

Our organization is seeking a seasoned Senior Snowflake Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our data strategy, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data pipelines, data models, and analytics solutions on Snowflake.

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Snowflake and Matillion ETL, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in the Banking, Financial Services domain. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, implementing, and optimizing Snowflake data warehouses, schemas, and data-sharing solutions.
  • Defining and implementing best practices around performance tuning, cost optimization, and data governance.
  • Creating scalable data models supporting BFSI use cases (e.g., regulatory reporting, fraud detection, risk analytics).
  • Building, scheduling, and monitoring complex data pipelines using Matillion.
  • Optimizing ELT workflows for large-scale BFSI data volumes (transactional, customer, risk, and compliance datasets).
  • Implementing robust error handling, logging, and recovery mechanisms.
  • Translating BFSI data requirements into scalable Snowflake solutions.
  • Working with structured/unstructured data like core banking systems, payments, credit risk, AML/KYC, collections.
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance in data management.
  • Partnering with business stakeholders, data scientists, and reporting teams to deliver analytical datasets.
  • Collaborating with cloud engineers to ensure secure, compliant cloud deployments.
  • Supporting and mentoring junior engineers on Snowflake and Matillion best practices.
