We are seeking a dynamic professional to support our initiatives focused on urban development.

This role is ideal for an individual with a passion for creating vibrant and accessible spaces, who can contribute to the planning and execution of projects related to complete streets and sustainable urban design.

  • Support the development and implementation of urban landscape and complete streets projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with project goals.
  • Conduct site visits and gather data to inform project planning and design, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Assist in the preparation of design concepts, presentations, and reports related to complete street projects, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and consultants, to ensure effective project implementation and stakeholder engagement.
  • Assist in organizing and facilitating community consultations and workshops to gather valuable feedback and insights.
  • Conduct research on best practices in urban landscape design and complete streets, supporting project development and informing decision-making.
  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate project outcomes and inform future initiatives, identifying lessons learned and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare project documentation, progress reports, and presentations, providing clear and concise information to stakeholders.
  • Assist with the logistical coordination of project-related events and activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Planning, Urban Design, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in urban planning, landscape design, or project coordination.
  • Solid understanding of urban planning principles and sustainable development practices.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, GIS) is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a passion for creating vibrant and accessible urban spaces.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with government agencies and NGOs.
  • Experience in conducting site audits and surveys.
  • Knowledge of complete streets design principles.
