Job Description:

Deputy Maintenance Manager reports to the Plant Maintenance Manager. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation) and 10 years of experience in maintenance & utilities management in a large dairy, food, or pharma plant.

The role requires leadership skills to manage a team of up to 100 people, identifying training needs, performance assessment, and inculcating a human safety culture.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Maintenance Expertise:
  • Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems
  • Experience with RCA, CAPA, MTBF, MTTR, preventive and predictive maintenance
  • Electronics equipment monitoring tools and tackles
  • Utilities Management:
  • Knowledge of boiler and steam networks, ammonia and freon-based refrigeration systems, compressed air and nitrogen generation systems
  • Experience with VAM, RO, UF, sand and carbon filters, pumps, DG sets, transformers, and other utilities equipment
  • People Management:
  • Capable of managing a team of up to 100 people
  • Identifying training needs, performance assessment, and inculcating a human safety culture
  • Business Acumen:
  • Experience in preparing and monitoring maintenance budgets
  • Setting and improving energy standards
  • Identifying and executing cost and energy-saving ideas
  • Results-Oriented:
  • Experience in execution and achieving plant KPIs like productivity, losses, and complaint reduction
  • Specific energy consumption, production lines OEE improvement
