Job Opportunity: Solar System Designer

Solar System Design Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented solar system designer to develop efficient and cost-effective solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for residential, commercial, or industrial projects.

The ideal candidate will work closely with the engineering, project management, and sales teams to deliver high-quality solar system layouts, energy production estimates, and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design solar PV systems using software such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, SketchUp, and other relevant tools.
  • Analyze site survey data (roof dimensions, shading, azimuth, tilt, etc.) and develop optimal system layouts.
  • Prepare system designs including line diagrams (SLDs), layouts, and bill of materials (BOM).
  • Estimate energy production, system losses, and performance ratios.
  • Ensure all designs comply with local regulations, grid standards, and safety norms.
  • Collaborate with engineers, installers, and project managers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Update designs based on feedback, site changes, or new client requirements.
  • Stay updated with the latest solar technologies, design practices, and industry trends.
