Life Saving Assistant

Our organization seeks a highly skilled Assistant Technician to join our team. As an Assistant Technician, you will be responsible for providing essential support in the operation of haemodialysis machines.

• Operate and maintain haemodialysis machines to deliver life-saving treatment to patients with kidney failure.
• Prepare and prime extracorporeal circuits with 0.9% normal saline to ensure machine functionality.
• Label dialysers and blood lines with patient information prior to use.
• Mix and prepare dialysis solutions according to prescribed formulae.
• Provide clear explanations of dialysis procedures and equipment to patients to alleviate anxiety.
• Establish connections between haemodialysis machines and patient access sites to initiate treatment.
• Monitor haemodialysis machines for malfunctions and perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of treatments and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of relevant training or certification programs.
