Project Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the site engineering organization, you will be responsible for executing projects within technical areas of expertise using reliable and cost-effective technical solutions.

  • Execute engineering activities such as design, implementation, and maintenance within technical areas of expertise.
  • Responsible for execution of maintenance, calibration, and commissioning activities for projects at site level.
  • Supervise plant engineering teams and provide technical assistance to ensure best possible maintenance, repair, and modifications.
  • Execute design, execution, and hand-over of projects within cost, time, schedule, quality, and functionality within technical area responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with industrial standards and GMP guidelines by implementing preventive maintenance plans in shutdown intervals according to scheduled maintenance plans and planned corrective repairs of equipment problems.

Participate in maintenance/reliability reviews of new projects and execute follow-up on any infrastructure/civil work tasks in production plants.

Supervise change over operations for production equipment to improve productivity and coach/motivate new team members, responsible for personal and professional development.

Perform project HSE management, execute project safety stops/reviews, and execute project alignment with key local and global stakeholders.

Apply state-of-the-art technical solutions in accordance with compliance standards and HSE regulations.

Ensure projects on site develop through various stages of scope definition, approval, implementation, and obtain permits for maintenance/calibration/projects.

Execute work orders for maintenance/calibration as per method statement/procedure and responsible for personal and professional development. Update CMMS after maintenance/calibration completion.

Document execution and calibration process engineer, support building organizational culture aligned with Sandoz values and behavior.

Requirements:

Experience in OSD Oncology facility in a reputed pharmaceutical company.

Minimum 5 years of experience in supervisory capacity.

Experience handling containment machinery.

Operations Management Execution Collaborating across boundaries Functional Breadth.
