Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our team and design and develop scalable, maintainable, and efficient back-end systems that support maritime operations platforms.

As a key member of our development team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of backend services with frontend applications, databases, and other core systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to high-quality software architecture.
  • Take full ownership of the product lifecycle, from conceptualization through development and deployment.
  • Implement Test-Driven Development practices and write comprehensive unit tests for code.
  • Build reusable, modular code and libraries for efficiency and consistency.
  • Optimize applications for performance, speed, and scalability.
  • Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Maintain technical documentation for all systems and processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong Python foundation, including debugging and performance analysis.
  • Experience in web application and API development (REST) with Django/Flask frameworks.
  • Expertise in secure software development and sensitive data handling.
  • Well-established experience in all development phases – requirement gathering, system design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • In-depth knowledge of Source Code Repository and Git.
  • DB design & Architecture expertise with focus on performance.
  • Caching techniques and utilities like Memcache/Redis experience.
  • Apache/Nginx/web/app server experience.
  • Docker containerization tool experience.
  • Enterprise-level deployment and scaling experience.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
