Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Executive to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing the company's payroll, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with statutory labor laws.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Process company payroll every salary cycle, coordinating with the accounts team for smooth processing.
  • Maintain payroll processing systems and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data.
  • Prepare salary structures and compute employees' take-home salaries.
  • Receive and coordinate requests for leave and other absences.
  • Manage changes in exemptions, job status, and job titles.
  • Adhere to payroll policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with statutory labor laws.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in timesheets and payroll records.
  • Honor confidentiality of employee salary records.
  • Complete payroll reports for record-keeping purposes or managerial review.
  • Train new employees on how to use company software for accessing personal records.
  • Act as a single point of contact for all payroll audits.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of statutory compliances like PF, ESIC, Bonus, Insurance, Minimum Wages Act, Labor Laws/Labor codes.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRMS System(ZOHO or others) will be a plus.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, professional office environment.
  • Willing to take direction if and when needed, but also work independently.
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Ability to manage payroll independently.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS systems.
