Job Description

Dovelp is seeking a highly skilled Online Bidder to join our team in generating business opportunities through active bidding on online platforms. This role involves preparing compelling proposals, interacting with clients, and collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to secure projects and contracts.

Key ResponsibilitiesBid Preparation
  • Identify and analyze potential projects and opportunities on online platforms, researching industry trends and competitor offerings to stay informed.
  • Create well-crafted and persuasive proposals tailored to client requirements, highlighting the company's strengths, capabilities, and value proposition.
Client Interaction
  • Engage with clients via messaging, calls, and virtual meetings to understand project needs and address client queries, providing clarifications and showcasing expertise.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with clients to foster long-term partnerships and drive business growth.
Market Research and Adaptation
  • Research industry trends, competitor offerings, and client needs to stay informed and adapt bidding strategies to increase chances of success.
Collaboration and Negotiation
  • Coordinate with the sales and marketing teams to align bidding strategies with overall business goals and collaborate with team members to gather relevant information for proposal creation.
  • Negotiate project terms, timelines, and budgets with clients to reach mutually beneficial agreements and balance client expectations with the company's capabilities.
Documentation and Follow-up
  • Maintain accurate records of bids, interactions, and outcomes in the company's CRM or project management system and update and share bid-related information with relevant stakeholders.
  • Follow up with clients after proposal submission to address any additional questions or concerns and keep clients engaged and informed throughout the decision-making process.
Performance and Reporting
  • Meet or exceed bid-related performance targets set by the company and provide regular reports on bid activity, success rates, and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as an Online Bidder or in a similar role within the digital marketplace.
  • Strong understanding of online bidding platforms and their dynamics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Persuasive writing ability and attention to detail in proposal creation.
  • Proficiency in using project management tools and CRM systems.
  • Negotiation and client relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Market research skills to identify potential projects and tailor proposals.
  • Familiarity with industry trends and technologies relevant to Dovelp's offerings.
