We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade observability solutions.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role with a strong focus on OpenTelemetry, Python development, automation, observability tools, and CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Design: Using OpenTelemetry (metrics, logs, traces), create scalable and reliable solutions for our clients.
  • Custom Development: Utilize Python to build custom collectors, exporters, and automation tools for our clients.
  • Dashboards and Visualizations: Design and implement dashboards and visualizations in Grafana, optimizing logging in Splunk.
  • Pipeline Management: Use Kafka to manage event streaming pipelines.
  • Deployment and Monitoring: Deploy and monitor observability components in Kubernetes.
  • CID Pipeline Building: Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub, and Argo CD.
  • Maturity Assessments: Conduct DevOps maturity assessments, adoption strategies, and stakeholder engagement.

Preferred Expertise:

  • Hands-on Experience: With OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, AWS, Splunk, Ansible, Terraform, and other technologies.
  • Programming Skills: Strong programming skills in Python, Shell, Groovy, YAML, and experience with Flask or Node.js is a plus.
  • Databases: Knowledge of databases, including Postgres, MySQL, InfluxDB, Prometheus, RDS, and NoSQL databases.
  • Storage Systems: Familiarity with storage systems, such as NetApp, VMAX, Pure, PMAX.
  • Monitoring Tools: Strong exposure to monitoring tools, including Grafana, Prometheus, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Datadog, ELK, and others.
  • Agile Environment: Experience working in Agile/Scrum/SAFe environments.
