Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Assurance Professional with 5-7 years of experience to fill a leadership role.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in US GAAP general accounting and financial statement review, with the ability to oversee and execute complex audits. They will also guide assigned staff in their tasks, ensuring compliance with US GAAP standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, risk assess, test, and complete engagements
  • Act as lead on medium and complex engagements
  • Develop reasonable time budgets and coordinate audit requests to meet time constraints and client deadlines
  • Mentor, train, and supervise junior level staff on technical issues
  • Communicate with Senior Manager/Directors on work status and client issues that arise
  • Comply with firm/Audit department policies
  • Maintain Client Relationship by focusing on quality and service excellence
  • Ensure proper documentation and review of engagements
  • Design audit approaches, supervise audit teams
  • Attend mandatory technical training sessions
  • Prepare and review final reports

Requirements for Success:

  • Inter-CA/ACCA/CPA/CA with 5-7 years of relevant experience
  • Team player with a proactive and result-oriented approach
  • Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and International standards of Auditing (ISA)
  • Ability to prioritize, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office
  • Strong interpersonal and exceptional communication skills
  • Strong grasp of business and technical issues and industry trends
  • Ability to communicate clearly at all levels with a proven track record of establishing and maintaining strong relationships
