Senior Hospitality Manager Job Description

This position is responsible for overseeing food production, presentation, and quality control in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Operation
  • Ensure timely service delivery according to client terms and conditions.
  • Manage menu rotation and develop new recipes.
  • Initiate menu upgrades and special event menus.
  • Taste food before service begins to maintain quality standards.
  • Develop promotions, festivals, and special events.
  • Plan pre-preparation areas to process items according to recipes.
  • Maintain quality, cost, presentation, and flavor of foods.
  • Organic Growth and Profitability
  • Ensure organic sales growth by promoting service excellence and value-added offers.
  • Sustain and build site profitability through timely report analysis.
  • Cash and Debtors Management
  • Accurately control, handover, and deposit cash, maintaining specified cash control documents.
  • Raise and deliver invoices to clients as per schedule.
  • People Management and Training
  • Manage the on-site team, including cooks, MPWs, stewards, cashiers, and Stores assistants.
  • Implement HR processes and staff welfare activities.
  • Communication and Client Retention
  • Communicate with clients regarding services, additional business, and hygiene initiatives.
  • Prepare documents for client communication.
  • Wastage Control and Cost Management
  • Record daily leftovers and plan production accordingly.
  • Minimize wastage and recycle excess ingredients while maintaining highest hygiene standards.
  • Legal Compliances
  • Coordinate with HR, QMHSE, and Legal departments to ensure legal compliance.
  • Systems Implementation and Process Management
  • Implement and follow company systems and processes.
  • Document and display work processes.
  • Procurement and Inventory Management
  • Monitor daily raw material indents.

  • Strong business acumen and commitment to quality.
  • Financial and budgeting skills, sound written and verbal communication.
  • Well-groomed and able to represent Sodexo professionally.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer focus.
