Firmware Developer Position

We are seeking a skilled firmware developer to contribute to our embedded solutions for Linux-based gateway systems.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing robust, secure, and scalable firmware tailored for low-power, wide-range embedded devices.

You will leverage advanced Linux systems, AWS IoT Core, and other cutting-edge technologies to ensure seamless integration with systemd.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Firmware Design and Development: Develop and maintain embedded firmware on Linux-based devices.
  • Linux System Development: Work on Yocto-based Linux system development.
  • Device Driver Development: Develop and optimize Linux device drivers and embedded security features.
  • CLOUD CONNECTIVITY: Integrate with AWS IoT Core for cloud-based device connectivity, data exchange, and management.
  • Embedded C Code Development: Write, test, and debug Embedded C code, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Unit Testing: Conduct unit testing using the cppunit framework.
  • Test-Driven Development: Adhere to Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.
  • Languages and Tools: Good working knowledge of Python and shell scripting.
  • Testing and Debugging: Experience with embedded firmware development tools.
  • Documentation and Communication: Excellent documentation practices and communication skills.
  • Project Management: Commitment to maintaining project schedules.
  • Agile Development Environment: Collaborate in an agile development environment.

A strong background in agile development environments with cross-functional teams is preferred.
